Lacewing - Ceraeochrysa lineaticornis

Lacewing - Ceraeochrysa lineaticornis
Houston, Harris County, Texas, USA
July 22, 2011
Best guess is Nodita.

Moved
Moved from Ceraeochrysa.

Ceraeochrysa lineaticornis
Probably Ceraeochrysa lineaticornis. Vladislav Grigorenko suggests that this species can sometimes have the above marks on the prothorax not found in many of the other records.

Moved tentatively per the following Dr Oswald's suggestion:
"Not Leucochrysa (Nodita) pavida. This is almost certainly a Ceraeocrysa (you pointed out the IM cell difference, also smaller size, and lack of a pterostigmal spot [I don't see one...]). Some Ceraeochrysa also have black antennae."

thanks to John Schneider for catching this error
