This is Harpaphe h. haydeniana, the common Pacific Coastal subspecies of H. haydeniana that ranges northward from Humboldt Co., CA, to southern Alaska. South of Humboldt Co., other subspecies of H. haydeniana occur, the species ranging southward along the coast all the way to Big Sur, Monterey Co., south of San Francisco Bay.
