Upstate South Carolina SC spider - Neoscona crucifera

Upstate South Carolina SC spider - Neoscona crucifera
Greenville, Greenville County, South Carolina, USA
June 23, 2011
Size: About an inch long
Found this orange spider with striped legs crawling on the benchrest at the gun range in Upstate, South Carolina.

Moved
Moved from ID Request. That's the closest thing I can think of as well. It's a juvenile male.

Not an easy angle, but
our guess would be Neoscona crucifera. Let's see what Lynette thinks.

Thanks!
Thanks for your quick response! My kids will be thrilled to know what type spider it was. ☺
