Identification
In females, the yellow of upper orbits are produced toward ocelli (not so in the similar
zonalis); humeri are more rounded than in
zonalis (which have humeri with an obtuse anterior ridge):
Antennal segments VI-VII in males are widened gradually to a less well defined club, not much wider than segment VII; front of mid-tibia emarginate (with an apical notch).
