Braconidae: Spathius? - Female
Grand Folks, Grand Forks County, North Dakota, USA

This looks like it may be a Braconid wasp. If so, might it belong to the genus Spathius? I'm hoping to confirm or correct family and genus. Thanks for looking! ;-)

Braconid
It is definitely a braconid, but it doesn't look like Spathius to me. Do you have some particular reason for expecting this ancient picture to have been Spathius, such has having reared it from a wood borer?

Thanks, Bob!
No, I've just captured the image whilst looking for moths this afternoon. Prior to posting I looked at several BG images, one of which was an example of Spathius

Date
Then, unless I am misunderstanding something, the date of New Years Eve, 1969 is a mistake.

Oops!
So that's what you meant by 'ancient'! Gosh, I forgot to insert the date! It must default to 1969, which was a very good year! I'll fix that error right now! ;-)
