Orchard Spider?? - Leucauge venusta

Orchard Spider?? - Leucauge venusta
Essex County, Virginia, USA
May 29, 2006
Size: 1/2 Inch
Is this a venustra orchard spider or a mabel orchard spider, what is the difference?

Yes looks like venusta and
we will move it there in the guide. Mabel is now considered a synonym for the orchard spider. They are now the same species. Looking similar is Plesiometa argyra which has a slightly different body pattern.
