Found this wolf spider resting on a log. Any possibility of identification?

We forgot that
wolf spiders would have a pair of eyes on top. We didn't think about Dolomedes because this was smaller than the ones we've seen by lakes. Is there a Dolomedes of the oak woodlands that would be noticeably smaller than the ones observed on rocks and piers along the water?

This
looks like a subadult male. D. tenebrosus is often found far from water.

Not sure
I only know it's a Nursery Web spider based on the eye arrangement and guessed on the species based on similarities to the image in the Golden Guide to Spiders.
