Ledges State Park, Boone County, Iowa, USA
July 31, 2011
This odd planthopper landed on a leaf while I was photographing Linden lace bugs (on Basswood), and walked around a bit before disappearing--not giving me much opportunity to compose a shot. I showed the image to a couple of people on the Ledges trip, so I thought they might like to see what it was. If desired, this image can be frassed at a later date.
