Broad-headed Bug? - Alydus eurinus

Broad-headed Bug? - Alydus eurinus
Ottawa, National Capital Region, Ontario, Canada
July 27, 2011
Size: About 1 inch long.
From what I can see on BugGuide, I think this could be within Hyalymenus. It is on a milkweed leaf, 9:00 am, bright, sunny day. Found just outside the city in a field with many milkweeds as well as other plants, including shrubs, trees, raspberries, etc.

Hyalymenus spp. look very different --see(1); none of them is black or pubescent
