i see them at my porch lights every now and then

wow...
at my backyard this is the most pervasive and annoying distraction from real stuff...
i mean it: in June & July they easily outnumber any other beetle genus, and cause a lot of false alarms, since many decent beetles may look similar from a few feet distance to my shortsighted eye...
