Large striped, pre-historic looking moth. -
Manduca sexta
Manchester, New Hampshire, USA
August 5, 2011
Size: 3-4 inches across
It is huge! It seems to have yellow stripes on it's underside. I could not see that it had eyes. My husband said that it's feet were sticky or grippy.

Eyes
Part of an eye shows, next to the right-hand antenna. It's dark gray.
