The grasshopper didn't seem to mind the heat and humidity the way I did. Get me back south of the Maxon-Dixon!

Late July seems very early fo
Late July seems very early for an adult M. bispinosus. Even in southern Nebraska I rarely see adults before August 25. The dorsal thorax also does not look much like M. bispinosus. I suspect more likely a female M. confusus.
