At first I thought this was the caterpillar of the Lycaenidae family. But I did know that it was the larvae of a fly! Cool though.

I didn't keep it-but I know where to find them. I have no idea what it eats. I found it on a very big leafed plant that I haven't IDed yet either.

Try feeding them with aphids.
Try feeding them with aphids. It looks like a Syrphini larvae and they like aphids and scales etc.. Should pupate soon, cause it is a big one already...
