Leaf Hopper?? - Epicallima

Leaf Hopper?? - Epicallima
Pasadena, Maryland, USA
August 6, 2004
I believe this to be a leaf hopper of some sort...but I could be wrong. It is about 3/8" and was in my "garden" (used to be, but is now a "nature preserve"). This picture was taken at approximately 1700 8/7. I have seen several other types of leaf hoppers in the "garden". Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Large-spotted Epicallima [Callima] Moth -- Epicallima sp. n.
How about this one? Bob Patterson

Looks like a match

It's a pretty little moth. I'll start digging but does anyone else recognize it?

Find it?
I still haven't had any luck finding anything re: this moth. I had several of these guys at the same time until the end of the month (Aug). I hadn't seen them before or since.
