Size: maybe an inch
Coffe on the porch. Spider on hubby's mug. He doesn't like spiders. I'd like to be able to tell him who his drinking buddy was . . .

Yes, though young Neoscona crucifera
can be very similar. arabesca tends to be brighter and more well marked and more delicate with longer spines on the legs.

. . . Is it that patterning on the back that points toward N. arabesca? I'm guessing this is a young spider.
