This is a better series IMO than your previous one.

 
Techniques
I've had quite a learning curve with the Canon MPE-65 since my earlier posts. I'm finding that a 13mm extension tube between the lens and camera boosts the magnification without extending the lens so far out -- which reduces the wiggle when creeping forward to do the focus stack "slices." I'm using a small piece of velum (from an ole tyme draftsman I know) as a diffuser over both twin flash heads. Clearly there is more still to learn.
