I think probably a Banded Meadowhawk
Sympetrum semicinctum
. Common around ponds and marshes in that area. Used to be lots and lots of them (among other things) in the marsh on the north side of Berthoud, but they drained that, put in a sterile lawn-bordered pond and built houses on the rest of it (I haven't been back for over 15 years, so it may be better again now?). Same for the [formerly] extensive marshes on west of Littleton, east of Boulder, southwest side of Loveland, on the east side of Fort Collins, and so on.
