female Shadow Darner...
Aeshna umbrosa, although the first thoracic is a little unusual in that it does not seem to be showing any "flag". Compare with
I also noticed that there are very few images of females such as yours, so I think I will post a few of my own to help with ID too. Thanks for posting your images!
