Author of the name: Hentz. Year first published: 1847.

Female up to 8 mm, Male up to 6.5 mm (1)
Identification
** These spider have been placed here based in images and information found in Spiders of the Eastern US, A Photographic Guide(1). However, we haven't been able to find a reference that states this is the only Philodromus species that has this pattern & the hairy legs.
