Isn't this a magnificent moth? We let it go this evening and after never having flown in its life, a few flaps of it's wings and it was flying like a pro!

Very cool sequence. And you captured it step by step. Nice work!

(What's your camera and lens? These shots are such clear close-ups. My favorite are the open crysalis and the first shot of adult, showing the white tips on wings, but they're all good.)

Hi Jack. Thanks for the kind words. The camera I used here was an Olympus C8080wz prosumer digicam. You would be hard pressed to find a better lense/sensor combo on anything less than a DSLR.
