Laphria virginica? - Laphria virginica - male

Laphria virginica? - Laphria virginica - Male
Athol, Worcester County, Massachusetts, USA
June 11, 2006

Laphria
Likely male virginica. And the other is the female.

Male and female
I thought they were different, with the male having a long thin black abdomen, and the female a round black abdomen, like a bumble bee. Thanks for the ID's Herschel.
