Wasp with passenger? - Sphex ichneumoneus

Looks to me like this wasp's carrying a parasite in it's abdomen. Any idea what it could be? (maybe Strepsiptera?)

Strepsiptera, yes
or possibly the empty pupal casing of a male one.
