This image is a CombineZP processed stack of 155 images with a 0.9 micron step taken with a Nikon BD Plan 20X 0.4NA 210 mm tube microscope objective + extension tube adapter + Nikon D300 camera. The objective's outer case was removed and replaced with a sheet of translucent material backlighted by a flash array.
