Fairly small- that's grass it's on. We'd really appreciate any help toward ID. Thanks!

looks like Acontia aprica
Exposed Bird Dropping Moth in the Guide.
In the southwest, there's a number of other similar-looking Acontia species (see MPG page) but I think aprica is the best match
