Found clinging to grass stem after rain. This beetle was extremely active during photo shoot in my light arena. It flew repeatedly and ran to and fro most of the time it wasn't flying. I wasted a lot of digital film trying to get a flight shot. It was just too fast for me. I released it this evening. I found one last year but failed to get any usable images. I was reminded why ;-)
