Tiny millipede - Brachycybe lecontii

Tiny millipede - Brachycybe lecontii
Barney Farm, Hwy 103, 1 mi. NW Washington, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, USA
December 31, 1969
These were so small and I never found any that were larger than the one it the picture. I usually find them under rotten logs. For a possible size reference those are pin holes in cardboard.

Moved
Moved from Platydesmida.

Platydesmida
These are again Brachycybe lecontii (Platydesmida: Andrognathidae), which occurs in a few parishes of Louisiana.

Ha!
Seems strange to see something this size described as small. I don't have the best lens for it, but I frequently shoot critters about the size of those pinholes :-)

Strange creature
