Mites eating my Oxalis -
Petrobia harti
Ithaca, Tompkins County, New York, USA
September 3, 2011
Size: less than 1 mm
These small red mites are abundant on the weedy Oxalis stricta in my yard. The leaves are silvered with tiny pock marks.
