both 14- and cream- work nice in the native range...
...where the vast majority of specimens [at least 95% where i grew up] look like this

apparently, a true Holarctic species -- which would explain its different phenotypic composition in the New World

Calvia 14-guttata
The heart-shaped red spots, red-brown explanate rim of the elytra, and what's visible of the pronotal pattern all correspond to one of the many variations of the ill-named Cream-spotted Lady Beetle.
