Steve, I see where this particular phenomenon has happened to you, too. I've asked it many times on my posts, but never get a reply to this question. Maybe you know the answer. The only comment on your fly is that it has been moved from the Guide page it was on, Eristalinus aeneus. (It doesn't say where it was moved to, though.) I know when a picture is moved from ID Request, it doesn't generate a message. But being moved from anywhere else on BugGuide, does. How did it get back to it's proper Guide page without generating a message?

 
'Tis a mystery to me as well.
I just ignore what I don't understand as long as it doesn't change the status quo. NOT! But this phenom didn't seem significant enough to investigate. One of the editors probably could answer the question though. :)
