This beetle was on a dead mouse. Unfortunately, photographer did no get a shot of the thorax and head. Any help with ID appreciated.

I had same thoughts about seeing golden setae...

Nicrophorus sp. -- prob. tomentosus, if the pronotum...
...is covered with golden hair [i think that's what i see on its small exposed area]
