Golden Flies Mating - Eumerus

Size: 1/4 inch app.
These little flies were tumbling around on the ground. Any help with ID would be appreciated.

Eumerus
This is a pair of the European syrphid genus Eumerus. Three species have been introduced to North America. A species ID is not possible with the picture
