Phorid? on a stinkhorn - Melanderomyia

Phorid? on a stinkhorn - Melanderomyia
Pelham, Hampshire County, Massachusetts, USA
September 27, 2011
Size: 2 mm
Likely the same species, if not the same individual, as these:

Moved
Moved from Flies.

Melanderomyia
I agree. These three all look to be Melanderomyia.

Not Phoridae
Probably an acalyptrate fly.

Melanderomyia?

I just emailed Jeff Skevington for his opinion.
Edit: He says "I would like to check some specimens in the lab to compare before I say for sure. They don't strike me as being platypezids, more like acalyptrates but I want to check to be sure."
