Are there any other angles that would be better for identifying these flies?

 
Under belly shots help
For a lot of the flies in this genus it is helpful and sometimes necessary to see the ventral surface of the abdomen in order to get a good species ID. Kinda hard to do in the field though! Usually the dorsal abdomen is good enough for a rough ID or to a species group.
