Hololena
Can you explain how you arrived at genus? I've been meaning to learn how to ID these, but still haven't had time.

RTA
The retrolateral tibial apophysis on the male palp has 2 processes with 2 spikes each, and the processes are distinctly separate from each other. Plus the abdominal pattern is a match for other Hololena images here. Looking at the species key, this is a very speciose genus with many overlapping species at single collection sites - I wonder if they are indeed distinct "species" or if the Hololena describer was just a prolific splitter.

Palps...
I'm afraid in most cases I won't have the palp shot to look at, though that is great information. I would be happy if I could just ID these to genus based on the abdominal pattern or carapace pattern or shape... or whatever might distinguish them from the other genera in this family. Thanks again for your explanation. The drawing on facebook was helpful.
