Dragonfly - Aeshna constricta - female

Dragonfly - Aeshna constricta - Female
Milton, Rock County, Wisconsin, USA
October 10, 2011
By location, date, and some field marks (shape of claspers on the dorsal view, rearward extension of the dorsal tip of the anterior thoracic side stripe, unmarked abdominal segment 10), I believe this should be a male shadow darner (Aeshna umbrosa). But I am troubled by some other field marks (anterior edge of the anterior thoracic side stripe is not straight, neither thoracic side stripe appears to be edged in black, apparent absence of a spur at the end of the clasper on the side view). (The tiny dew droplet could be obscuring a clasper spur, however.) Both images illustrate the same individual. They were made in a southern Wisconsin prairie near a sedge meadow and a small pond. I would appreciate it if the experts could weigh in on this and confirm the ID.
