Bark Scorpion ? - Chihuahuanus russelli

Bark Scorpion ? - Chihuahuanus russelli
Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, USA
October 1, 2011
Size: 50 mm approx.
I scooped this guy into a jar to photograph him/her and he lay on his back an played dead for a couple of minutes. Then he stood up and assumed a defensive stance. The closest ID I can come up with is a Bark Scorpion. He has 6 spots on his underside, if that helps ID. He was later released into the wild.
