I should have added
that based on location, this "should" be N. diabolica.

Shieldback Katydid of genus Neduba
looks like a male nymph. The species arrangement is being studied, and is a bit confused now, so identifications are tentative and based mostly on location. A good place to see more information (albeit still limited) is the "Singing Insects of North America" web site under "Katydids".
