Slidell, Honey Island Swamp, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, USA September 15, 2010 Size: 10mm
I found this in the swamp, it is perched on the seed of two-winged silverbell (Styracaceae:Halesia diptera). This fall, I've actually seen three or four crickets all fungused-up like this. I don't recall if they were all the same type of cricket.
