Hi, Steve! Great to see you here:-) Nice images of one of the few click beetles that are relatively easy to identify. The size, all-black, glossy, and smooth character of this species are pretty distinctive. Most click beetles have striated elytra (wing covers), of course. Neat find. I found one in West Virginia a couple days ago.
