Grasshopper nymph with tachinid eggs
Concord, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA

The eggs were on a Chortophaga viridifasciata nymph. I'll see if I can have some luck and rear the flies.

I'll find out in the spring
I'm keeping the grasshopper in the shed this winter, and if it's still alive in the spring, we should see the fly.
