Size: 1.5mm diameter
These were found on a lilac bush. The exteriors of the eggs (presumably) are tough and leathery. Inside was unrecognizable black and yellow goo.

Stink bug eggs, I think.
- many similar barrel-shaped eggs can be found in the guide under Pentatomidae. Although I'd guess these are not the same species, they remind me particularly of Harlequin Bugs (in that family) - compare below:
