Thanks for the id
After Neoscona was suggested last night, I thought the pictures on this site for N. oaxacensis were close, but given the variety and being new to spider/insect identification I was unsure.

Is it possible to tell if the specimen is a female or male from my pictures? It hasn't moved far from this web in at least 1-2 weeks and is usually found in the center.
