American Rubyspot? - Hetaerina americana - male

American Rubyspot? - Hetaerina americana - Male
las vegas, clark County, Nevada, USA
October 25, 2011
This beauty was hawking gnats over my pool this morning. I've seen many types of damselflies in my yard, but this is the first of its kind for me. Looking through this site, I believe it a male American Rubyspot, but would appreciate confirmation. Thanks, Moose.
