Anisota
A. senatoria is very similar (if even distinguishable as larvae) from the related A. peigleri. Both are found in Georgia. I have read that dorsalateral scoli are more prounounced in A. peigleri, as they are in this individual. Therefore, I would ID this particular specimen as A. peigleri, keeping in mind that the two species are very similar as larvae.

A. peigleri
Being from Pennsylvania, I am not very familiar with A. peigleri, but I have reared A. senatoria several times, and the scoli are much more pronounced on this individual than on any of the hundreds of A. senatoria that I have seen before. If this is a characteristic of A. peigleri, then I agree with your ID.

A. peigleri
I too have seen the vast numbers of A. senatoria in Pennsylvania woodlands. The scoli difference is quite evident between the two areas.
