I think this is a Soldier Beetle, Podabrus rugosulus. I know there are several which look similar. I was hoping for some help on this ID before I move it to the guide page to represent illinois.

looks like...
I'm not sure, but it looks like a firefly to me. I catch them on my camping trips, but I've never seen them in daylight.
