Green Beetle - Dichelonyx albicollis

Green Beetle - Dichelonyx albicollis
Chicago, Illinois, USA
June 20, 2006
At first I thought this was a tiger beetle (hey i'm a beginner) But now that I see it's obviously not, I found Dichelonyx albicollis in the guide. I think that looks pretty close. Any suggestions? I was hopeing the orange and white stripes under the wings would be a clue to an ID.

Thanks for the help, do you know if it's possible to narrow this down any further by range, or photo?

I think albicollis = white-necked
Does your beetle have moderately long light-colored "hair" on its pronotum and underside? If so, then it probably is albicollis.
