I don't know if I'm correct in calling this a Camel Cricket.

Moved from Ceuthophilus.
Ceuthophilus pallidus is a common midwestern prairie species. I'm identifying it based on the noticeably scaly body and the pattern consisting of four rows of dark blotches.

Yes.
Probably in the genus Ceuthophilus, but other genera occur in that region.
