Likely Kennedy's
The combination of the date on which the emerald was found and markings on the latter segments of the abdomen and thorax point to this species.

That's what I was thinking, but never encountered one before...the other possibility I was considering was Delicate but that would be even more unusual where I am.

This definitely wouldn't be Delicate. Delicate's have a small, dark basal patch on the hindwings and the abdominal markings would be absent. Nice catch!
