full citation:
Valerio, C.E. (1981) Spitting spiders (Araneae, Scytodidae, Scytodes) from Central America. Bull. AMNH 170: 80-89

the publisher is indeed the American Museum of Natural History, but the publication is its Bulletin (conventionally abbreviated as 'Bull. AMNH'), to which the 'Volume 170' applies; according to the standard citation practice, authors' names are not formatted in all-caps, and initials are used rather than spelled-out names.

the convenient format i use to insert a link to an online copy (downoladable or otherwise) is Full text -- that way the web page opens in a new pane
