Working as a group to protect their eggs? Number five ran away before I returned with my camera.
Found under a 16" x 16" x 3 1/2" deck when turned over, disrupted the lives of four diffefent types of spider and a Harvestman.

The object in the middle is a tiger moth cocoon, not a spider egg sac.
